Poster for Austin Texas Book Trail
The Austin Texas Book Trail is a citywide bookstore crawl featuring Austin-area indie bookshops and small businesses. For this poster, we wanted to feature some fun and whimsical Austin animals on the move. The Austin Texas Book Trail is called a bookstore crawl, but crawling’s not the only way to participate — the critters on this poster are swimming, flying, slithering and bounding between our featured local shops.
To create this poster, I worked with the Book Trail organizers to come up with a concept, provided a sketch, and carved an 11x17 block with a large blank space so we could add the participating stores later in ProCreate.
